College admissions coach

Hi,
I’m Patrice.

Reduce stress. Increase joy.

Like many of you, after years of sacrifice and working diligently to prepare our daughters for college, we realized that high school counselors were overextended, and other parents had just as many questions and very few answers.

After guiding our daughters through the college admissions process and coaching friends and family, I had a proven method for how students can boost their chances of success. Our daughters gained admissions into some of the nation’s most prestigious universities including Yale University, Columbia University, Northwestern University, and Washington University in St. Louis, and collectively, they were awarded millions of dollars in scholarship offers and multiple full-ride offers.

My desire to reduce the stress and confusion we felt during the college application process ultimately led to Parent Prep University. From our kitchen table, I developed this step-by-step approach to prepare parents for their supporting role as their high schooler takes the leading role stepping into their next big adventure. We are excited to share our insights with you.

Learn from our mistakes and wins. Parent Prep University is the coaching experience we wish we had!

My daughter and I were able to make sense of the complicated college application journey because of Parent Prep University. The biggest impact this experience had was the reduction of stress for us in the summer before her senior year! She was organized due to the coaching and organization she was able to apply in her college application process. She will graduate from Northwestern University June 2022 with a double major- Biological Sciences and Global Health with minor in African-American Studies/Pre-Med.

Parent Prep U provided excellent support, resources, and assistance as my husband and I navigated our first child's college search and journey. Parent Prep U answered our questions and guided our son as he prepared a service project that positioned him to be the recipient of a four-year full tuition scholarship at a mid-west elite college with admission standards that rival those of Ivy League Schools. If you and your child are looking for resources and assistance through the college admissions process, you will be pleased by the depth of knowledge and insight that will be shared with you by Parent Prep U.

Patrice’s guidance to our daughter Kiran was invaluable. Her encouragement and help during Kiran’s community service project helped Kiran clarify her thoughts and stick it out when she was ready to give up. She frequently used Patrice as a sounding board for ideas and suggestions throughout the college application process. Patrice and Kiran had several customized coaching sessions. It feels like yesterday that Kiran started at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland with a full academic scholarship, but in fact the years have flown by, and she graduated with a dual degree - Bachelors in Medical Anthropology and Masters in Global Health!
